bueno, ya habia visto algún que otro trabajo tuyo pero ahora que veo tanta maravilla pues no me queda mas que decirte como ya te dije en alguna ocasion que son figuras el mas alto nivel, estaria viendolas horas, una maravilla, enhorabuena.

Do you use oils to highlight and shade with, at all?!

I don't use oils only acrylics, sometimes I use oils but only for metal parts and groundworks

So how do you get that beautiful blended look to your work? Do you use glazes and tonin'?

Sometimes I use a zoom glazes, but not too much or I get dizzy I think the trick for that is the water, when you work the mid tones very water color you could made a soft transition between the light and the shadow, let dry the paint for each paintbrush and don't get rush, sometimes is very hard to achive a soft blending, specially in the skin, but with a lot of practicing anything goes

I used to work with acrylics, but I found that for large surfaces I needed to mix up a lot of paint for my highlights in case they dried out on me. Also, I felt the pressure to get the paint on the figure this way, too.

With oils though, I can work at a much more leisurely pace.

Hey iacobus me alegro te guste la galeria y gracias por registrarte amigo, con respecto a lo del Samurai, pues si tengo por alli unos pendientes de Pegaso, pero deben esperar un poco ya que son bastante meticulosos con las ropas pero seguro me animo con alguno de ellos...
