French Dragoon 1809

I didn't post here for a long time but also I didn't finish anything until now.
This due to the birth of my beautiful daughter and I started practising sculpting, which took a lot of modeling time.
This is figure I almost finished now. It's a french dragoon from 1809. And based on the drawing from michael saez.



The main body and hat are from art-girona and the face is a pegaso one.
And some parts are sculpted. It didn't end up in the relaxed pose I had in mind and I made some mistakes here and there but hopefully my next effort will be better.



The painting is done with acrylics. Still have to do the lower part of the legs. The socks and boots and the yellow parts of the jacket. Some details and the sword have to be added. Also the groundwork has to be painted a bit more and some weathering on the figure. I hope to finish it this weekend. Here are the pictures.

For the grass I used the grass strips from Fredericus Rex greenline.
