| My main suggestion are the skin tone, you should risk some more, more contrast, more color tones but also more blending, I know the scale is small, but with a good brush you could do it, also because you did a good job with the uniform, I like the contrast but you need more blending there. | Thanks Ernerst, getting free advice from a master is really nice! I appreciate your comments and insight. I now realize that I have to take more risks and push the envelope. I believe my problem is that once I get to a point where I think I cannot do any better I stop. This is because I'm afraid of ruining the figure. It also seems that Vallejo acrylics tend to tone down a bit after they dry. Once again thanks. | |
